Justice League Vol. 6: The People vs. The Justice League was released on June 26, 2018. The trade collects issues #34–#39. To celebrate this release, Fantinuum and DC Comics are running a giveaway where two lucky winners will receive a copy of this trade.
The collected issues see the League under fire from the government and the public after a botched attempt at saving hostages. The team has already been running on fumes, with Batman, their de facto leader, burning the candle at both ends. The story arc also sees many subplots which delve into the personal struggles of a few members. The situation is made more dire with the debut of a new villain—The Fan. He’s unlike any other enemy they’ve faced. Armed with an arsenal of intimate knowledge about the League, the Fan frames Batman, putting the public’s already fragile trust at an even greater risk.
The thrilling issues are written by Christopher Priest with art by Pete Woods, Phillippe Briones, Marco Santucci, and colors by Pete Woods, Gabe Eltaeb, and Alex Sollazzo. Justice League Vol. 6 continues DC’s Rebirth initiative with the most famous of superhero teams taking on some politics, yet retaining their bright outlook.
